ABC's Decision On Colorado Game Is Bad For College Football

The Pac-12 released game timings and networks for its Week 8 games earlier this week.

Those on social media were quick to point out that Washington, which had just defeated Oregon, did not get the primetime slot.

Instead, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes will take on UCLA on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, the Huskies will meet Stanford on FS1 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Some were dissatisfied with the decision.

"Wow, this is great for college football, and I'm very glad we've all decided to let TV ratings influence how we deliver and receive news about this sport," said Steven Godfrey, a longtime college football writer.

However, one fan made an intriguing argument, pointing out that Colorado-UCLA will most likely be a more competitive game than Washington-Stanford.

"I agree with you, but isn't Colorado-UCLA a better game on paper than Washington-Stanford?" "This one doesn't strike me as a good example for this point," the admirer commented.

Stanford, on the other hand, just defeated Colorado in double overtime.
