Heartthrob status has evolved into Niall Horan's not-so-secret weapon on "The Voice."

During the last round of blind auditions Monday night, vocalist Huntley completely wowed Horan.

Horan, coaches Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and John Legend gave the Virginia vocalist a four-chair turn for his soulful rendition of "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes.

"You sing in a unique style. You sing so directly,

and it's so lovely to listen to the power and authority you have, according to Horan.

"I want you to join me in the battles because of how you made us feel, and that's really important," the narrator said.

For the 33-year-old, hearing the coaches' appreciation turned out to be an emotional experience. Huntley remarked,

"I've been waiting for this for a while."

It sounds like you've performed on large platforms before, so it amazes me a little bit to see how humble and surprised you are when all of us cheer for you.
