‘Bold’ Cowboys Trade Proposal Sends Highly Paid WR to Packer

The Dallas Cowboys have been the subject of trade rumors throughout the summer, and one fresh idea involves sending veteran wide receiver

Michael Gallup to the Green Bay Packers. While Gallup and the Cowboys are entering a critical year in their partnership,

the possibility of a trade before the start of the 2023 season is hypothetical at this point.

According to NFLAnalysis.net’s Evan Massey, the proposed trade would send Gallup to Green Bay in exchange for a 2024 third-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick.

Massey believes that such a move would make sense for the Packers, and if the Cowboys are willing to trade Gallup, it could be a deal that satisfies both teams

Massey suggests that the Cowboys could rely on CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks as their top two receiving targets if they were to trade Gallup,

while still having Gallup as a potential weapon for Dak Prescott.

Gallup's potential trade is linked to recent struggles, and while Cowboys fans know how talented he can be when healthy

he has faced injury challenges in recent seasons. Gallup had a promising start to his career as a rookie in 2018

and he made significant contributions during the 2019 season despite playing just 14 games.
