Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick has made it obvious that he still wants to play football.
Will Kaepernick ever return to the NFL? It would be quite surprising if he did at this time.
However, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has received several offers to play elsewhere, which he appears to have declined.
The XFL and the Canadian Football League have both expressed interest in Kaepernick. However, he does not appear to be interested in the prospects so far.
"If Kaepernick does not want to play in the XFL, his second option for returning to football appears to be in Canada." According to TSN,
the BC Lions have added Kaepernick to their list of potential trade partners. This doesn't guarantee he'll play in the CFL
it simply means that if he decides to play football in Canada, BC will be the only team with whom he can negotiate," CBS Sports adds.
Kaepernick, who hasn't played in the league since 2016, has expressed no desire to play anywhere other than the National Football League. And perhaps he has earned that privilege.
If this was just about football, he'd presumably be interested in the XFL or CFL as well, right?
