Cowboys urged to spend $15 million on polarizing ex-player.

In Week 3, the Dallas Cowboys' defense suffered a significant setback against the Arizona Cardinals,

And it's still unclear whether the team's management would try to sign a veteran cornerback to provide backup after Trevon Diggs' injury.

According to a list of prospective roster changes put together by Bleacher Report, the Cowboys' reunion with Anthony Brown is at the top of the list.

According to Bleacher Report on September 25, "Brown was released by the 49ers ahead of this week's game on Thursday Night Football,

And that's great timing as he can return to the place he called home for the last seven years." The 29-year-old won't be able to match Diggs'

output of the ball, but he is familiar with the scheme and can add depth to a position group that is now in need of it.

Additionally, the fact that he might be privy to knowledge about a 49ers club that the Cowboys play in a few weeks and might face again in the playoffs can't hurt.

It's important to note that the Niners released veteran Brown after a two-day stint but have since re-signed him to a one-year contract coming into Week 3.
