Davante Adams landing spots: Jets, Packers among best fits if Raiders WR seeks trade

The Raiders entered the 2023 NFL season hoping to improve on their poor 6-11 record in Josh McDaniels' debut season with the franchise.

They have the same 1-3 record through four games that they did through four games in 2022. Davante Adams, the top wide receiver, did not appear to be pleased.

This season, Adams has been vocal about Las Vegas' need to improve its performance. He was particularly vocal after

the team's 23-18 loss to the Steelers in Week 3 that something needed to happen for the Raiders to attain their full potential.

"I don't act as if everything is insane. Week 3 has arrived. But I don't have time to sit around and watch the Raiders struggle," Adams said of the team's troubles.

"It's nothing personal. It's a personal matter, but it's not just about me. It's not in my nature to sit here and attempt to figure

it out over the course of the season. You use early games like these to forge your persona. We're not doing enough to develop a winning culture this early in the season."

Adams' words spurred speculation that the wide receiver could be dealt if the Raiders' downturn continues.

That may not happen, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, who says Adams is "set on playing in Vegas long-term."

Still, in the NFL, things can change quickly, as Adams discovered when the Raiders benched, and finally released, Derek Carr after only 15 games together
