Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders responded to Stephen A. Smith's comments on Monday's ESPN First Take.
He didn't take long to answer, and he didn't avoid the debate.
"He's right," Sanders said on Twitter. "Now, let's move on."
Smith came down hard on Sanders and his son, Shedeur.
He began by calling the Buffs' loss to Stanford a "absolute disgrace" before launching into a rant directed at the Buffs' quarterback.
"Show up, stand up because your daddy, and to the players on that team, your coach, expects you to."
As much confidence as he possessed. As much swag as he possessed. "He was the best on the planet every week," Smith remarked.
"You knew Prime Time, Deion Sanders, was probably the best ever."
