On Sunday night, the Dallas Cowboys were completely destroyed by the rival San Francisco 49ers
they may be dealing with a slew of injuries that is even worse than the game's 42-10 final score.
KaVontae Turpin, the All-Pro wide receiver and return man, was rumored to have sustained a high-ankle injury during the game on Monday morning.
Turpin could be placed on injured reserve as a result of this injury,
which usually keeps players out for 4-6 weeks.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the Turpin injury is "the least of our concerns."
This is especially troubling given that the Cowboys had three defensive starters miss the game due to injuries.
special teams ace C.J. Goodwin suffered a torn pectoral that will sideline him for the remainder of the season.
Most notably, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch appeared to suffer a neck injury
when he ran into Micah Parsons while chasing down a run play during the fourth quarter.
