Jets' Aaron Rodgers 'ahead of schedule,' but hurdles remain

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Tuesday that he's "obviously, ahead of schedule" in his recovery from Achilles surgery, but he still has a long road ahead of him.

In his weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers claimed it "makes absolutely no sense" to establish a specific comeback date.

He did, however, make it clear that he intends to play again this season.

Before that can happen, he says he needs to hit certain milestones in his recuperation, followed by "practicing and everyone signing off on it."

Hopefully, we'll be able to have those discussions."

This is also true for other former DCEU actors such as Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman, and Ezra Miller's Flash.

Many people were startled when the four-time MVP walked without crutches and threw for five minutes before Sunday's game at MetLife Stadium.

His quick recovery, combined with the Jets' two-game winning run, has fueled talk of a late-season return.
