Kelsey Plum pokes fun at new Aces minority owner Tom Brady, who sat courtside for Game 1 of the 2023 WNBA Finals.

Kelsey Plum, a Las Vegas Aces guard, has long been a fan of NFL star Tom Brady, who is now a minority owner of the team,

and was one of several celebrities that sat courtside for Game 1 of the 2023 WNBA Finals on Sunday. 

Plum made advantage of the chance during the Aces' 99-82 victory over the New York Liberty. 

"I looked at him and said, 'It's about effing time you came here,'" Plum remarked following the game. "But what I admire about him is that he was like,

'You already know.'" I'm simply really happy about his involvement in our club and what it means for us, as well as the league. And keeping an eye on

Plum, who had a playoff career-high 26 points and five rebounds, earned the right to have some fun. This was also not her first encounter with Brady from the stands. 

Last season, Brady was in town for a game, and Plum was ecstatic to see her all-time favorite athlete. She went to dap him up before the second half and, for some reason, chose to bark at him there as well. 

Her teammates, like many others, thought it was unusual, but Plum subsequently received an autographed jersey from Brady, so it clearly made an effect.
