Season 7 of Outlander will be heartbreaking.

The second season of the hit "romantic odyssey" Outlander has our favorite on-screen lovers Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe). 

However, with the shocking conclusion of Season 7, viewers are eager to see what happens next.Season seven of Outlander will be divided into two parts, unlike previous seasons.  

Outlander will premiere in Australia on Saturday, June 17, 2023, with each episode airing in weekly installments.

Outlander Part 2 will not be released until sometime in 2024, with an official debut date yet to be announced. 

The new season is expected to have 16 episodes in total. However, Starz announced that Outlander would conclude with a 10-episode season eight. 

In Part One, Jaimie, Claire, and Ian returned from the American Revolutionary War to Lallybroch, Scotland, where fans may recognize some familiar faces, according to executive producer Maril David. 

Meanwhile, Roger and Bree have returned to the twentieth century to find Rob Cameron has abducted their son, Jemmy.  

They believe Rob and Jemmy have returned to the 18th century to assist him in his search for the hidden Jacobite gold at Fraser's Ridge. 

During the mid-season finale, Roger and Buck traveled back in time to find his son, leaving Bree and their daughter, Amanda, behind.  

Part two will undoubtedly investigate this cliffhanger.
