Taylor Swift Attended the 'Eras Tour' Film Premiere in '1989' Blue and a Faux Bob.
Taylor Swift wore blue to the Eras Tour film screening last night. While this may not seem like a groundbreaking statement to the average person, it speaks a lot to the pop singer.
Swift wore a powder blue Oscar de la Renta gown with floral embroidery and cutouts on the red carpet, channeling an Old Hollywood starlet while also paying
homage to her 1989 album (if you're a diehard Swiftie, you know that blue is the official color of 1989, which is the next album to be re-released by the singer)
She accessorized with similar open-toe heels, diamond earrings, and a faux bob with bombshell waves and forehead fringe. Swift's strapless blue gown and antique haircut also seemed to allude to Swift's "Karma" music video.
She completed her look with her usual red lipstick, black winged liner, and blue eyeshadow that matched the color of her gown.
Swift added lines from her Reputation album in an Instagram statement just before arriving at the event. "Look what you truly forced me to do: Due to exceptional demand,
we're opening up early access screenings of The Eras Tour Concert Film across America and Canada on Thursday!! "As in... TOMORROW,"
she tweeted, adding: "I can't thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I've ever been a part of: The Eras Tour." And the best part is, we're still on this adventure together."
AMC Theaters is releasing the concert film, and owing to presale tickets, it's already one of the highest-grossing movies of 2023
The film is expected to gross up to $145 million in its debut weekend, breaking box office records.
